What are the active ingredients in MZM Recovery Lotion?
Magnesium, Zinc, and Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM).
Who can use it?
Everyone needs Magnesium, Zinc, and MSM in their bodies to function, so even though our lotion was primarily developed for those with an active lifestyle, everyone can benefit from using it.
How much should I use?
While how much lotion to use depends on your size and activity levels, generally speaking, you should be applying it generously over your entire body every day.
So I just apply it to all of the “sore” areas on my body?
Yes. And no. Technically speaking, MZM Recovery Lotion can be applied anywhere you have skin. Your body will make sure it gets to the right place. That said, we do recommend placing a higher emphasis on the affected areas. It won’t provide immediate relief of symptoms however, regardless of where you apply it. Your body needs to absorb it and disperse it first.
However, we have found our lotion to be effective in treating skin surface damage like bruising, scuffs, minor abrasions and relief from mild eczema. (This last one isn’t a proven medical fact, merely our observations.)
How will it affect my skin?
Apart from the expected moisturizing effects, first-time users may experience exfoliating of their skin. This is totally normal and actually it’s getting rid of your top layer of dead skin, which is a good thing. After one or two applications, it should stop.
What if I use too much?
Impossible! Our formula uses enough Magnesium, Zinc, and MSM to achieve results, but nowhere near the quantity you would need to overdose on it—not even if you took a bath in it.
How long does it take to work?
It takes about 20-30 minutes for our lotion to absorb through your skin and into your system.
When should I use it?
MZM Recovery Lotion is best applied on clean, dry skin. So after a shower or before bed are two solid options. We recommend using it daily, especially if you exercise frequently.
Can’t I just take supplements instead?
There are a lot of options for Magnesium, Zinc, and MSM supplements on the market. And like most supplements there are pros and cons to each of them. Some work, some don’t. Some cause undesirable side effects, are expensive, or require that you take handfuls of large pills a day. Our lotion was developed to be a simpler solution.
How is it better than an epsom salt bath?
Epsom salt baths are time consuming, expensive and messy. With our lotion, you can just apply and go. Also, you can’t keep an epsom salt bath in a gym bag!
